Wedding Ceremony Tips

1. Wedding plans & invitation to solemnisation
2. March In song - ensure enough time for bride to walk (and extra time in case of emergencies, eg flower girl cries, etc)
3. Bride on left while walk-in
4. Mandrian translation of Praise & Worship songs along to be projected
5. Best man- remind him when to hand over ring to Pastor (in box?)
6. Wireless microphone available?
7. Practise putting on rings on finger (especially if bride is wearing gloves)
8. Ensure Pastor/Officiating Minister can be seen from back & not block by bride & groom
9. Mums to be on stage during signing of marriage certificate (but not to sign 'cos the Dads are the witnesses & signing)
10. Black pen to be used for marriage certificate
11. Take away holy comm elements (one bread & one cup grape juice) away from table- Andrew Ong; video camera for Holy Comm
12. File ROM using Pastor name (check with church office)
13. Pass flowers to bridesmaid (before Solemnization begins)
14. Get someone to escort & cue parents when to go on stage for signing of marriage certificates
15. Rehearsals: as time is usually short, don't spend too much time on Worship. Main thing is to get all parties to be clear about positioning, sound & sequence of events. (Hence, it may be good to skip/shorten some of the songs for Praise & Worship songs during rehearsals.)
